Meet Ray

Ray is a *soon* to be 1-year old Yorkshire Terrier. He is full of energy and just wants to play and play all day!

Ray's Story

Ray was born in Lima, Peru on December 29, 2022. He was one out of 4 siblings born. The Kanashiro Family got Ray a few months after the passing of their previous Yorkie, Klein. Klein was also born in Peru and emmigrated to the U.S. after the 6 months mark. Unfortunately, the process to bring Ray to the U.S. was not as easy as it was with Klein, Ray had health issues and complications that wouldn't allow his vet to approve his visa to the U.S.

His Journey To the United States!

After almost 8 months of vet visits, vaccines, medicine, and check-ups, Ray was ready! Ray travelled for his first time to the U.S. on Novemeber 10th, 2023, just in time for Thanksgiving! It took him a few days, but he has settled into his new home!

PS, His Name

For those wondering where the name Ray comes from, my family has a custom of naming our pets Luxury Brand names, my cousins have Gucci (Gucci), Louis (Louis Vuitton), Klein (Calvin Klein), and now Ray (Ray Ban).
